Arthur Campling
was born at Sutton on Sea in Lincolnshire attending
school at Alford and Sutton and following National
Service studied engineering in Lincoln whilst
employed by Clayton Dewandre and for some 38
years by Ruston Gas Turbines Ltd being appointed
Chief
Designer in 1978.
He has always
enjoyed light hearted poetry and after retiring
in 1993 started to write poems as a hobby. Arthur
Campling resides in Lincoln and is married to
Phylliss and they have two daughter and four
grand children.
